ACIS Is On the Road: Join Us On Our Fall Event Schedule

We make no secret of the fact that we love our teachers. We think the work they do in creating the next generation of global citizens is one of the most important jobs there is. Which is why each year, we run a series of teacher events around the country, as a small gesture of appreciation for everything they do. It’s a way for us to say thank you to teachers who travel with us already, and to talk to those who may be thinking about embarking on the adventure of changing students’ lives through educational travel.

Our fall 2016 season is already under way—we’ve held events in Providence RI, Williamsburg VA, Orlando FL and Des Moines IA. But there are still plenty of opportunities to let us treat you to some food, wine and informal chat about travel and global education, culminating in our flagship event in San Diego, for those teachers attending ACTFL.

As well as these events, we’ll also be attending a number of conferences this fall. If you plan on attending any of these conferences, please stop by our booth to say hello and enter our prize draw to win some amazing prizes!

  1. Located in NY we are first time travelers with ACIS this February. Do you have any get togetherness in NY? we’re located on the border of westchester county.
Also, we are collecting conference badges, preferably the zippered pouch style that hang around the neck. If you have any extras if left overs from any conferences please contact me. We’d like to give these to our student travelers; 45 so they can carry their ID’s, small cash etc.. close to their bodies and discreet under a shirt, jacket or sweater.
    Thank you

  2. Jennifer,

We don’t have anything scheduled in the Westchester County area for this fall, but perhaps in the spring? ACIS is in NY quite often. I’ll be sure to keep you posted on all future events. We don’t have any zippered pouches here in the office but I’ll ask some of my colleagues attending conferences this fall if they can keep an eye out for some extras.

Thanks, as always, for all that you do for your group and for ACIS!
