VIDEO: If I Only Knew…

When we talk to first-time group leaders about the prospect of leading a trip abroad, there’s a sense of excitement that’s just on the verge of turning into nervousness. They’ve had travel experiences themeselves, they know how life-changing it can be, but they’re not quite sure they’re ready to take on so much responsibility.

Once they come back from their first trip, however, they can’t wait to get started planning the next one. Once they’ve had the chance to see ACIS in action, see ACIS tour managers in their element guiding their students in a foreign country and make magical moments occur, they’re believers for the rest of their lives. It only takes that one leap of faith to see they’re in good hands, and that they can relax and enjoy the ride.

We asked two ACIS Group Leaders about their expectations before and after their first ACIS experience. If they only knew how fantastic of an experience it would be, they would’ve started years earlier.
